Embrace Anal Solo Play—Experience Safe Orgasms

Why We Started This

For a long time, the word masturbation has been misunderstood, hidden away, or burdened with negative labels. It’s often equated with loneliness, poor health, sexual shame, or a lack of choice. At BEISAR, we don’t believe any of that holds true.

Masturbation doesn’t mean the absence of intimacy, nor is it a replacement for it. More often, it’s where people begin to truly understand their own bodies and sexual desires. It’s a form of self-care. A moment of awareness. A way to offer yourself comfort and attention without depending on anyone else.

That’s why we chose to launch this year’s Masturbation Month campaign. We wanted to break the taboos and biases surrounding solo anal play—to bring masturbation out of the shadows and back into everyday life, where it belongs. Not as something shameful or secretive, but as something that can be acknowledged openly. By sharing accurate, sex-positive information, we hope people can feel safe masturbating, enjoy it with confidence, and build an honest dialogue with their own bodies.

What We Actually Ran

This year’s Masturbation Month ran from May 7 to May 28, 2025, under the theme Embrace Anal Solo Play—Experience Safe Orgasms. Everything we did centered on one simple goal: to talk about masturbation in a more realistic, grounded way and help people better understand it.

We launched the Super-O Creative Short Video Challenge, themed Care for Yourself, Explore the World of Super Orgasm. Participants were invited to share short videos reflecting real experiences with masturbation—whether that meant describing an anal orgasm, documenting how they use anal sex toys, or telling a masturbation story about the first time they truly listened to their body. What mattered most wasn’t how polished a video looked, but how honest it felt.

At the same time, we opened dedicated discussion threads on FetLife, X, and Reddit using hashtags like #Super-O Experience Officer and #Feel Orgasms Starting With Masturbation. These spaces encouraged open conversations around masturbation, anal pleasure, safety, and self-exploration. Users shared their stories, exchanged experiences, and asked questions, while professionals stepped in to answer, offering thoughtful guidance on sexual health and how to masturbate—helping keep the discussion clear, empowering, and grounded in real knowledge.

Throughout the campaign, we also offered limited-time discounts on the Super-O series to lower the barrier to trying anal toys, so more people could explore safely and comfortably.

Voices From The Community

One thing became very clear through these interactions: most people aren’t unwilling to talk about masturbation—they just haven’t had a space where they felt safe doing so. Many participants shared that anal masturbation is rarely discussed seriously, especially when it comes to safety, pleasure, and physical feedback. This campaign helped them realize that masturbation is simply one way to experience sexual release and mental relaxation—and that those feelings are valid, understandable, and worthy of respect.
Some people also described their personal shift from feeling ashamed of solo pleasure to learning how to coexist comfortably with their own bodies. These stories reminded us that the most meaningful insights don’t come from performance or spectacle—they come from lived experience.

What This Means For Our Work

This campaign reinforced something we’ve long believed: people don’t need to be “convinced” to accept masturbation—they need understanding and support. To BEISAR, masturbation has never been a fallback option. It’s a core part of sexual awareness. Solo pleasure doesn’t oppose intimacy with others; it helps people better understand what they want, what they enjoy, and what their boundaries are.

Masturbation Month strengthened our direction even further. We don’t want BEISAR to be just a brand that sells sex toys—we want to be a space where people feel safe talking about desire and free to explore their bodies without judgment.

Where We Go From Here

Going forward, BEISAR will continue to treat masturbation as something worth taking seriously. We’ll keep listening to real user experiences and bring conversations about sexual health, physical safety, and emotional response into our anal sex toy design and content creation. Great sex toys aren’t created in isolation—they’re shaped through use, feedback, and understanding. And masturbation shouldn’t be defined by loneliness or shame. It’s often the first step toward knowing yourself. If this Masturbation Month helped you feel even a little closer to your body, then it was worth it to us.

We’ll stay here—with you—keeping conversations about sex and the body out in the open, where they belong.
